Orillia Christian School is seeking a current University/College Student, who has an interest in working in education, to join our team as a classroom assistant through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. The successful candidate will gain experience in the school setting through working alongside teachers in the classroom. 

Duties will include supporting the classroom teacher in their daily prep, working with individual or small groups of students in the classroom, helping plan and set up for school events, and assisting with various jobs around the school as needed.

This position will be full time beginning May 4 and ending on June 19. 

The rate of pay will be $17.60/hour with the candidate working 35 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Christian education and experience working with children. Strong collaboration skills, organizational ability, and a desire to be involved in the school community are required.
