Sarah Speers - Educational Assistant

I was born in Guelph and moved to Midhurst at age ten. I am thankful to have been raised in a family that encouraged living out our faith and nurturing a relationship with God from a very young age. I attended Georgian College, graduating with honours from the Developmental Services Worker program. I also provide respite care, which has given me experience supporting others and understanding their unique needs. I feel very blessed to have grown up attending a Christian elementary school myself. It showed me how the love of Jesus can be woven into everyday learning. I’m excited to help young students experience that same foundation.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cuddling my dog, and reading a good book. You will rarely find me without a cup of tea in my hand.  

I am grateful to be joining the OCS team as an Educational Assistant. I am passionate about helping shape young minds, both academically and spiritually. It’s a blessing to walk alongside students in their learning and growth, and I look forward to supporting them as they discover who God created them to be.
