Jess Weening - Educational Assistant

I was born and raised in a Christian home and am a Pastors kid. While I have moved around a lot, Orillia has become our forever home over the past few years.  Ministry has always been a significant part of my life whether it’s been serving in the church, camp and as well Christian school as of recent. I am married to my husband Ryan (an elementary school teacher) for 22 years. We have four kids: 2 young adults and 2 teens. I worked as an acute care Paediatric Registered Nurse for 22 years. Over the past few years I have been supplying as a TA and EA in both the Christian and Elementary Schools. I have a passion for coming alongside students to help them navigate life academically, mentally and spiritually. God continues to deepen my faith journey as I walk in obedience to join him at work in peoples lives. It is a privilege to be apart of the OCS community in raising precious minds for his glory.
